Build Your Warband

Chronicle warbands are small but mighty, typically 5–10 models. You’ll choose a Leader to guide your warriors, a few Veterans for muscle or magic, and supporting Regulars to round out the team.

Each fighter is defined by a handful of key stats, unique abilities, and flavorful gear drawn from the Gangfight rules—Hand Weapons, Great Weapons, Spears, Bows, Crossbows, and even primitive Flintlock Rifles for frontier realms.

Whether you’re commanding dwarves in iron plate, elven hunters, or necromantic cults, every model has a place in Chronicle’s fast, cinematic gameplay.

Factions of Legend

While the Gangfight system lets you use any minis, Chronicle’s evolving lore hints at powerful forces shaping its world:

  • Disciplined knights sworn to ancient gods.
  • Beastfolk and druids defending the old forests.
  • Sorcerers and alchemists obsessed with forbidden magic.
  • Mercenaries for hire, loyal only to coin.
  • Undead legions and cursed creatures rising from forgotten crypts.

You can follow these themes—or create your own. Chronicle’s magic-infused world is deliberately open-ended, so every player can shape their own version of the setting.

  • Metal, plastic, or 3D-printed fantasy miniatures from any brand (28-32mm scale works best).
